These iconic huts hark back to a time when families traveled to Kent in the late 1800s and early 1900s for seasonal hop-picking work. Once essential accommodation, the huts fell out of use in the 1950s due to the modernization of hop-picking processes. Black Corrugated Metal Cladding: This distinctive cladding was chosen for its durability and modern aesthetics. Resilient against the elements, it ensures that the huts retain their sleek, contemporary character for years to come.
Custom Guttering: The custom-designed guttering seamlessly integrates into the façade while managing rainwater effectively, enhancing both functionality and style.
Bespoke Façade Solution: The huts appear to cascade uphill, a design approach technically challenging yet visually captivating.
